Terms and Conditions

This is a user agreement between you (the “User”) and BookCheapestUmrah. Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using the website and making any booking. By visiting the Site, you fully agree to these Terms and Conditions without any qualification. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Site in any way or proceed with a booking. All communications regarding customer service or your booking should be directed to Bookcheapestumrah at info@bookcheapestumrah.co.uk.

Your Contract and Agreement

A booking refers to any order for products or services you place on our Site which we accept. A contract is formed when Bookcheapestumrah has received your full payment and sent a verification email (from either Bookcheapestumrah.co.uk or the relevant Travel Agent). All travel products and services on the Site are subject to availability.

Bookcheapestumrah acts as an agent for third-party suppliers such as airlines, hotels, insurance, and car rental companies (“Travel Supplier”). When you make a booking, the contract for your travel product is directly between you and the Travel Supplier. Bookcheapestumrah.co.uk is not a party to this contract.

Prices of Umrah Packages

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Fares may increase due to airline surcharges, government taxes, or changes in hotel/transport rates in Saudi Arabia. Customers will be informed of any adjustments.

Travel Suppliers & Their Conditions

Your ability to cancel or change a booking, and the methods for doing so, depend entirely on the specific Travel Supplier’s terms and conditions. Some products or services may be non-refundable or subject to specific requirements.

For flight bookings, cancellations or modifications can be requested by contacting the Call Centre or emailing info@bookcheapestumrah.co.uk. Please note that a ‘no-show’ for a flight may result in the entire ticket being voided and non-refundable.

Ticket Delivery

BookCheapestUmrah relies on the accuracy of the details you provide and cannot be held responsible for lost tickets due to incorrect addresses, emails, or junk mail settings. Ensure your passport name matches your booking and inform us immediately of any changes to your contact details. Paper tickets are not delivered outside the UK, and any special delivery needs must be advised at booking. If tickets are not received within 7 working days, contact us within 48 hours; failure to do so may result in extra airline charges. Reissue costs will be covered if reported within 48 hours, otherwise you are responsible. Delivery can be tracked with the reference provided. In rare cases, tickets may not be issued due to airline restrictions; if this happens, we will inform you within 48 hours and offer a refund or alternative, with any extra cost payable by you.

Passports, Visas, and Health

It is your responsibility to ensure:

  • Your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of travel.
  • You possess the correct visa. We will submit your passport to the Saudi Embassy for visa processing; however, This is not liable if your visa application is rejected.
  • You meet all health requirements, including necessary vaccinations (e.g., Meningitis).
  • The names on your passport and travel tickets match exactly.

Payment Terms

Full payment for flight packages is typically required at the time of booking. We accept payments via major debit and credit cards. Bookcheapestumrah reserves the right to cancel a booking if the agreed payment plan is not adhered to.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms vary by supplier. However, please be aware:

  • Deposits for flights are generally non-refundable.
  • For Hajj packages, all payments are non-refundable if you cancel your booking.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil a booking due to circumstances beyond our control (“Force Majeure”), including but not limited to wars, natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or government actions.

General Important Notes

  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend it. We are not liable for loss of luggage, personal belongings, or medical issues.
  • Check-in: Please arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before international flight departures.
  • Accommodation: Hotel star ratings are provided as a guide. Standards can vary. During Hajj, accommodation in Aziziyah and Mina is basic and involves shared facilities.
  • Schedule Changes: Airlines reserve the right to change schedules or cancel flights. We will assist in such cases but are not responsible for these changes.
  • Hajj Specifics: Hajj is a journey of patience. It involves large crowds, potential delays, and basic living conditions. Itineraries are proposed and subject to change based on final confirmations from airlines and suppliers.

Important Notes for Umrah/Hajj Travellers

It is your responsibility to check tickets, passports (valid 6+ months), visas, and vaccination certificates. Inform the company immediately of any errors. We recommend travel insurance and compliance with all health/travel requirements. Understand the rituals of Umrah/Hajj before travel. During peak season, facilities and flights may change due to overcrowding or airline decisions, for which the company accepts no liability. Any changes in KSA are beyond our control, so travel insurance is strongly advised.

Accommodation & Standards During Hajj

Aziziyah & Sheesha Buildings: Both are standard economic buildings with no star rating. Even with a 5-star Hajj package, if your itinerary includes Aziziyah or Sheesha, expect basic facilities.

Room Sharing: In Aziziyah, rooms usually have 5–6 people, regardless of whether you booked double/triple/quad sharing. Once transferred to hotels in Makkah or Madinah, you will get the room type you paid for.

Facilities: Due to peak Hajj season, issues with toilets or cleanliness may occur. Contact your group leader for assistance.

Mina Stay

  • Accommodation is in European tents with air coolers and sofa beds.
  • Each tent may have 40–60 people sharing.
  • The walk to Jamarat can take 45–60 minutes, depending on pace.

ATOL Protection and Financial Security

When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight-inclusive holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).

If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.
